About Us

Yaoi Kingdom is run by a dedicated team made up of two friends based in Richmond Upon Thames, in the south west of London. It began in May 2010 and is a new shop that's still growing, but our team has years of previous experience in retail.

We have a strong passion for social interaction and we love nothing more than talking to other people who share our interests. We travel to as many of the main Anime / Manga conventions in the UK to do this and you can be sure to find us there with a massive selection of everything to do with Yaoi.

Starting out with one table at the MCM expo 2010 and a couple of hundred books we have now tripled in size and have an even more diverse selection of stock, expanding from just Yaoi Manga to Yaoi Doujinshi and even self made badges and keychains.

Shipping

Q: What shipping methods do you use and how long will it take to get to my door?

A:Our default shipping option is 2nd class which usually takes 2 - 3 days to arrive. This is also the cheapest method as we will suck up most of the cost for the postage and try and only charge you for the cost of the shipping materials. We also provide 1st class (1 - 2 days), and special delivery (next day). International orders will vary depending on your location.

Q: How long does it take to process and send my package?

A:Most orders will usually ship within 24 hours of placing your order. This may be increased by 24 more if your order is placed on a weekend on Bank Holiday.

Q: What language are your books and magazines printed in?

A: All of the books currently listed on our site are official ENGLISH translations of Japanese yaoi. Nearly all of our manga is produce and imported from the US by June Manga. We do however also sell JAPANESE language Doujinshi at all the events we attend and also on eBay.

Q: Do you take international orders?

A: Yaoi Kingdom is happy to say we take international orders to any destination in the world!. For more information on shipping costs see our section on Shipping.

Q: What form of payment does Yaoi Kingdom accept?

A: Currently online we can only accept PayPal but we are hoping to be able to accept all major credit cards in the not so distant future…

Q: How do you package and send my order? Is it done discreetly?

A: Yaoi Kingdom never sends anything to you other than what you purchased, and of course we never share your personal information with any third parties whatsoever. All orders are shipped with tender loving care by our hard-working team , and all packages are packed in a totally discreet and professional fashion.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?

A: Nope. The prices you see on Yaoi Kingdom is the whole price of the book and the cost of shipping is clearly displayed in the checkout. Luckily in the UK all printed products are free of VAT. Note that when shipping to international destinations, depending on your country, there may be taxes and/or tariffs charged by your national government that we can't be responsible for.
